Better way to do this? (or RCI/Housekeeping/Multiyear/Maybe Disney? & More Challenge)

I have 23,400 points expiring on September 30, 2016 (two days from now).
I have no housekeeping credits left in this use year.

I have 105,000 points expiring September 30, 2017.
I have 84 housekeeping credits in this upcoming use year.

Our life is in a sort of limbo right now and I'm not sure when we'll be able to plan another vacation, but I think I'd like to move the points for both use years to RCI and try for a Disney resort. We aren't picky. And I hope in another 6 months we'll have an idea of when we can go. I think we will be able to be somewhat flexible with our dates at that time.

I've only done one other RCI trade and that was around seven years ago with points that the previous owner deposited for me.

I started to do the deposit today. It was going to cost $57 for the first deposit. $27 for the housekeeping credits and $30 for the transaction.

I am assuming you still pay the transaction fee once and get a whole day of transactions. Is that still correct?

I'm also wondering if there is a better/cheaper way to do what I'm trying to do. Like make a one-night studio reservation for this year (if there's time), cancel it and use those housekeeping credits for the RCI exchange.

If I can't do that, is there anything I can do with the extra housekeeping credits I'll have in this use year?

Help me please and I'll bow to your wisdom. :)

Thanks in advance!
Samantha

advice.

Not an RCI expert by any stretch of the imagination, but i will say, since you are not panning on travelling anytime soon, that you should leave yourself some flexibility. Deposit the 23k today so you don't lose them, but leave the 105k untouched until you have to do something with it. Once you give them to RCI you can't take them back. Things change.
