Received this from a member help request earlier today:

I have a chance to go to Coral Shores, but wanted to know a little about the resort layout. Do all units face the ocean? If not, which ones? Any to avoid?Description indicates fishing on-site - really? Is there decent fishing nearby? What about bicycling- is North Redington Beach bicycle friendly? Any other hints/tips appreciated. Thanks.

My $0.02 worth...

Received this from a member help request earlier today:

I don't personally know Coral Shores at all and can't comment further, but a Florida TUGGER I respect (Lou S., a.k.a. wcfr1) described it in March of 2009 as being;
"a converted motel. Narrow beach front. On beach but not facing the beach". Lou states nothing further in regard to any unit views and / or lack thereof.

As far as bicycling goes, I know from personal experience that Gulf Blvd in that narrow barrier beach area is certainly no picnic, but... the Pinellas Trail is relatively nearby (to the east, it crosses Seminole, west of 113th St. N. in Redington Shores, which is just north of North Redington Beach). The Pinellas Trail offers miles and miles of good, safe, vehicle-free bicycling. Overall, the area of Indian Shores, Redington Shores, North Redington Beach and Redington Beach is mostly residential and relatively "quiet".
If you're looking for excitement and / or much diversity in nearby activities, I'd frankly be inclined to look elsewhere. :zzz:

Fishing? All sand bottom Gulf beach shoreline at the narrow facility property; not very conducive to a wide variety of species --- but anyone can get lucky. :shrug:
