I am preparing to set up an Ongoing Search through RCI for DVC in October, 2015. Most of the available units I have seen are for either Friday, Sat or Sun check in. We will be cruising over the weekend and arriving on Monday. My questions are:
1) What is the likelihood of getting a check in on Monday or Tuesday?
2) Could I accept a room with a check in on Sunday and not check in until Monday? (Would they hold the reservation?) Not that I would be happy about giving up a night, but if it meant I could get the resort I want, I would be willing.

We are looking at a 2BR, first choice BLT, second AKL

Welcome to TUG.

The Disney Orlando resorts only check in on Fri/Sat/Sun when exchanging through RCI.

Yes, you may let the resort know that you will be arriving a day or two late.

Day late check in

I have done this in the past. I call to advise resort of day I will be arriving, ask that they put a note on the reservation and get the name of the person I am talking with. Worked out fine for me.
