I own 3 different TS units one is an Orlando unit. I wish to trade into DVC but do not know if RCI will allow this even if I use a non Orlando unit to trade into DVC since I already own an Orlando week. Anyone know the blockage rules for RCI.

I have units in Orlando on the weeks side but I also have a unit in the East Coast as well. I was able to get a unit at Animal Kingdom Villas with the unit on the East Coast, but I was also able to get a unit at Vero Beach with one of our Orlando units.

I own a unit in Orlando and Vegas, no problem trading my Vegas unit after my Orlando unit was denied.

The RCI website makes it look like if you own anything in Orlando that you can't exchange it :annoyed: but that doesn't hold true for multiple owners of weeks in other places along with Orlando.

They just don't let you use the Orlando one to get DVC unless it is a corporate unit like Hilton, then the exclusion doesn't apply.

It's all way too complicated. :crash:
Good thing we have TUGgers to help decipher the RCI code. :D

also, i was able to ask rci (after i had already confirmed an exchange for DVC with a non-orlando week) to sub an orlando week that was expiring sooner, and they did. dont know if this is the norm.
