There is an exchange board on TUGG. What size unit would the certificate cover? What size unit do you want? Generally, DVC units are more in demand than in supply. You may have to pay additional dollars to make a deal work. There are scores of people including many on this site that are doing their hardest to get DVC exchanges using other timeshare brands. The best way to get DVC is to buy it resale or rent points.

My question would be -- 7 nights in a Category ???
Makes a big difference whether it is a 5 or a 7.

I think you could post that on TUG and get some takers. I own DVC and was coming on here to see if it's even worth renting out the 2 exchanges I have booked. To me, DVC vs. a high-end Marriott isn't even a contest...Marriott wins hands-down. That's a trade I'd take, and I'm certain I'm not the only DVC owner to feel that way. Also, DVC trades in RCI, so no access to Marriott that way.

That said, wouldn't it make more sense to rent out the Marriott and get DVC with cash? I see those DVC exchanges rented on Ebay so cheap.

If it were me, it would have to be a Cat 8 or better. I try and use my Marriott travel rewards for places with no timeshares like Virginia Beach and I find that the properties in these locations even if just SHS or RI would be a Cat 7 or 8.

Tuggers - as always, you are generous with your help, but this is not the correct place to advertise a private exchange.

To the OP: If you join TUG, you can post a direct exchange Ad in the TUG Marketplace.
