Just back from the Fairfield Sedona and while at the Sedona Art Center heard about a new resort being built next door by the creek. The current RV/trailer park residents are to vacate by May 31. Anyone know who is building there?

That doesn't sound like it. The property I saw is at the North end of uptown. I think it's Art Barn road. What's there now is an RV park.

I think this may be the one to be built alongside (north of) Arroya Roble. It has recently (Jan 06?) been given planning permission by the Sedona Council. The AR timeshare salesman, who is also a TUG member, should be able to clarify this. He maintains that this will increase the value of AR.

That must be the replacement package for the failed Cliffs Project of 2000. It is now called The Preserve at Oak Creek. See the site plan here

That looks like it. I stood right at the edge of the creek there last week painting. There was no sign of civilization within sight. It's to bad they're not really going to "Preserve" it.
