I went through Ohare Thursday afternoon. I arrived quite early expecting long lines. I only had one person ahead of me to check luggage and gate agent asked if I wanted an earlier flight. Security was about a 10 minute wait. My earlier flight was delayed about 1.5 hr. which allowed me to leave on this flight.

I heard in the morning it was suggested 3 hours early, so I had a pleasant suprise. It is hard to know what to expect, I imagine as people realize the restrictions it will go back to normal.

I felt bad for the luggage folks, I have never seen so much checked luggage or available overhead room.

Has anyone had any trouble with their checked luggage? I would think the baggage handlers would be overwhelmed.

I have to travel for work next week, so I am watching the board carefully.

Can I really not take my chapstick? :)
