My wife and I recently moved from weeks to points with our timeshare at Massanutten in VA. We also, at substantial cost, bought into a program with our Grand Mayan ownership, now Vidanta, at great cost. It looks like the program offers access to unique places and opportunities, but we are also wondering if we should have our heads examined.
We need to learn how to use our respective timeshares in a more efficient manner to get the most value. We love to travel and look forward to traveling more in retirement which is 3-5 years from now.
I would welcome some tutoring or reference to a resource where we could learn to maximize the value of our considerable investment. I should also mention that the Vidanta Grand Mayan property is characterized as something different than timeshare.
Thanks.
