Most TSs have little if any significant value. So , no legitimate broker is interested.

Concealed fee scammers will take your money and vaporize!

DIY project and hope you can get rid of without putting up any more money.:bawl:

DeeGriz --- the value, if ANY, is the resort and whether or not the underlying week is a HIGH Holiday week for THAT area.

If you have a NC oceanfront BEACH WEEK for the best summer weeks - it has some value ...

NYE Week in NYC has very good value (called an EVENT Week), but many other so called event weeks by a resorts' selling teams have years later, a week being sellable for $100 (if that) verses NO VALUE (actually negative - you have to bribe a buyer) at all.

The BARGAIN DEALS section on TUG is for FREE WEEKS - you ask for $1 (legally a sale has to have an exchange of money) and then, you offer "bribes" to help move the deed out of your ownership. Examples include, YOU (the seller) paying all transfer costs, the 2015 MFs and booking a very PRIME reservation for 2015 (if a floating week).

Good luck ...

Never heard of 'em before and I also don't claim to know the market value (...if any) of your particular timeshare, but I would nonetheless respectfully suggest that you bear clearly in mind that a third party reseller / entity might very well charge a fee or commission which is actually a higher amount than the actual resale market value of your timeshare. If that is the case, you're financially better off just giving it away yourself for little or for free.

In any event don't pay anyone a dime "upfront" to sell your timeshare, particularly since they may very well never do so (and may never bother to even try to do so, since they would alrerady have the money from you anyhow). Commission only upon sale or walk away. Good luck.

Your first step should be to call your Resort and ask if they will take back your Week and if so, what will be the cost. Be prepared with a good story why you need to give it back.

I own at Summerbay. For the Villas and Rsort, my best estimate would be that the only unit that are going to be worth more than $500 are the 3 bedroom units that float 1-52 or summer months plus 51 and/or 52 or fixed week 51 or 52 and maybe week 26. Everything else would be $0-$500.

The Houses and the Reserves are probably worth a little more but it also depends on the fixed week or float season.
