ISO suggestions for very nice child free vacation?

We have a special week at the end of August without the kid and we'd like to go someplace very nice somewhere in or near the US (Mexico, Caribbean, Hawaii). I'm wondering where you LOVE to go for your special couples time. Ideally we'd have access to golf and pool or beach. TIA

It's impossible for me to answer your question without knowing you or your likes.

For my daughter and her husband it would be at a beach on the Atlantic side of Fla.

For my wife and I it would be somewhere like Eureka Springs Ark where we can get to easily from a TS in Branson.

We also enjoy places like Bar Harbor Maine.

Tell us what your interests are and we may be able to narrow down some specific spots for you.

From that side of the U.S., I REALLY like Puerto Rico (Old San Juan in particular) for an adult getaway with golf, beaches, rain forest, history, but NOT in August!

So how about Montreal/Quebec City? No beaches, but it would be like a mini 'French' vacation.
