My wife and I have lots of RCI points and we have been paying to extend them for another year for several years. We tried again today to extend 120000 points that are a couple of years old but they told us we couldn't do it. They suggested that we transfer them to someone else. They said the transferred points would expire at the next anniversary date for the party the points were transferred to.

So my question, what can I do? Do I have time to transfer them. Are they worth anything?

TIA

You can only extend the points once, then you need to use them or loose them. You have a fair amount of points to let go to waste so if it were me I would be finding somebody to transfer them to.

We have 1500 left over that we just couldn't find a way use up before they expire next week. We will need to try and plan better for our current use points.

Can this be done online or must it be done by phone? I would like to give some of my excess points to my brother to use in addition to his points.

Thanks for the suggestions and PMs. We were able to extend them your another year but I suspect we will not be able to use them all. I may be back later asking the same questions
