And it's all complete
Sent on the Riverside official copy of the recorded deed to the new owner today after checking all was complete with Marriott - who were very fast and efficient, and dare I say, even helpful, assuming you follow their process to the letter.
Riverside sent me the taxes and then told me to ignore when I called so I will, as, oddly, they say it takes 6 months plus for their systems to make ownership changes. It seems they use carrier pigeons and the weather must be inclement or something.
I'll be helpful if the new owner wants deed back or sales advice as promised. Then again, perhaps he will end up using it as I've never been disappointed with Marriott timeshare resorts and would have kept it if we were able to get the most out of it.
On to other adventures after closing this one out...
