Hi - I own two weeks at Marriott Manor Club in Williamsburg. Ever since I bought three years ago I've been able to reserve July 4th week and II has given me a bonus week. I reserved my weeks for 2006 and called II and they said that only April through June are listed for bonus weeks.

Should I just wait a month to deposit in hopes that they add this time period on? Has anyone had experience on how to find out? The rep just said it depends on marketing and it might happen but who knows. Thanks for any input. I'm not depositing til I figure this out. sue

Hi Sue !

I always call II first and ask... then I reserve my week.

Sue,

I have the same thing going on with Summit Watch but the II rep said that it's just too early to deposit it yet to get the AC. She pretty much said we will get an AC if we just wait a bit to deposit them.

What does "AC" mean?

Accomodation Certificate. A document that II offers for owners to deposit highly desireable weeks. They are nice a bonus (in fsct they are sometimes called Bonus Weeks) but they are not free. When you use the AC, they charge $199 if used for a studio, $249 if used for a 1-bedroom and $299 if used for a 2-bedroom. Still an excellent value; an extra week for much less than your MF.

I have gotten an AC for my Horizons Branson week in the past. This year I reserved my July1-8,2006 week and same story, no AC for Horizon Branson, yet. I'm waiting and hoping!

Don't deposit until you get a II to commito a bonus week AC. Half the country wants Manor Club on July 4 and I've rented my weeks for that time at as much as $1200. I can't believe they wouldn't give you an ac for that, but perhaps it's just a little too early for them to know. In the meantime put it on TUG and see if you can move it for $1200 rental.

In addition, AC's have a 12 month expiry, so the later you wait to deposit the longer you've got to use the AC.
