We just matched for a 2 bedroom unit at the Coral Reef Resort in Shipyard Plantation, HHI...

In the RCI Resort Information, we saw the following:

"FEES CHARGED FOR TENNIS & GOLF; GOLF CART FEES ARE *MANDATORY*. "

Can any exchangers or owners tell us if that means we have to pay for Golf Cart Fees even if we don't play golf or intend to use the golf carts??

Thanks in advance.

Unless the resort uses golf carts to get from one place to another---I can't imagine that you will need to pay.
But, honestly, I have no knowledge of the resort---I responded because no one else has.

Heck, I don't even like mandatory golf carts---when I golf!!! (and I am an avid golfer.)

I read this as meaning that tennis is not included in any exchange and that you must rent a cart if you choose to to play golf ie: you may not choose to pull a cart. I do not interpret this as meaning that you have any sort of mandatory fee if you choose not to use the tennis or golf facilities.

I am curious if this is the case. I was looking into an exchange at this resort, but decided on something else.

Good Luck

I would assume that it means that if you play golf you have to use a cart. Some folks are assumed to walking courses and this isn't allowed on HHI courses.

Thank you :) We'll assume golf cart fees are not mandatory for non-golfers.

What it means is - if you golf - you then have to pay the golf cart fee.

If you don't use you don't pay.
