I rediscovered Pandora just today after trying it briefly last year. What a hoot!

Already tonight I've customized my own personal Pandora radio station -- named Don Ellis Radio -- by adding several artists & songs that tell Pandora what musical styles to add to the play list.

Log on, search for Don Ellis Radio, & expose your ears to some great tunes.

Then sign up & start your own personalized Pandora radio station(s). Great fun.

Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast.

Alan,

Thanks for recommending Pandora! I just "discovered" it through the recent Sirius Radio thread. How cool!

I am listening to my Brudda Iz station right now!

I am glad I found Pandora from the recent Sirius thread. There was no way I wanted to pay $2.99 per month to listen to XM/Sirius, especially since it had always been included in my subscription, until recently.

I often listen to Rodney Carrington radio on Pandora. I love Pandora, I've been using it for about a year, I guess. I'm amazed how few of my techie friends even know about it.

Blackberry has an app for Pandora also. DH loves his Seeger and Springsteen channels.

Whoa! Spoken Audio Commercials On Pandora Dot Com !

Before today, the only commercials on Pandora were conventional linky-visual advertisements (e.g., Click Here For NetFlix, etc.).

Today, I'm listening to Josh Groban Radio or Don Ellis Radio or Jennifer Warnes Radio or some such on Pandora & in between tunes a voice is telling me how outstanding NetFlix is & how great SubWay sandwiches are.

The spoken sales pitches don't come after each & every tune, but they do intrude after every half-dozen numbers, approximately.

The spoken ads are brief, but they're annoying all the same.

Sheesh.
