Bank my week through RCI and then book the same resort for the same week?

RCI is telling me I can bank my week at Orange Lake East and receive 23 TPU. To book the week that we own at Orange Lake on exchange it would only take 10 TPU. Outside of the fees that I would have to pay for the banking is there a restriction on banking the week and exchanging into the same resort for the same week?

Am I missing something here? We need the extra points for another week we want and even with the fees it would still be cheaper than booking a cash extra vacation week.

No, you are not missing anything---the value of depositing is not always (or even often) the same as the cost required to exchange for the same week. Sometimes you come out ahead, and other times not. This is one of the good times!

Orange Lake does have a 1-in-3 rule across all of its Florida properties, but it does not apply to owners.
