I have an OGS search going for all of Sept and Oct in 2015 and 2016 for Aulani and all the HGVC resorts in Oahu. I'm curious of people that have successfully exchanged in any of them, how many RCI credits did it take? I'm wondering if I'm needing to pay the $ to combine mine for better luck. Thanks for any feedback in advance!

For a resort with his high value, make sure you have 60 points (maximum cost in weeks for anything).

If you join TUG, you will be able to see the private Sightings forum, which includes some recent bulk deposits for the various HGVC-HHV resorts. I suspect you will find you do not have sufficient trade power.

57 TPU should be plenty if they are already combined, but if you just put in the Ongoing Search, you may be too late for 2015.
However, Sept./Oct. is really off-season, so there's less demand, and that helps.

- A few in S and VA, a single resort in NC, MD, PA, and UT, plus Jamaica and the Bahamas
Hilton bulk banks very early. They just did a large one for almost all of 2016. Other than a few last minute low season Aulnai many of the OGS's that matched were running for nearly 2 years before matching. Most seemed to have been done with portal type points (Hilton, Worldmark, etc) that aren't actually deposited until a match is made thus allowing for the long search time without worrying about the deposit expiring.

You'll need the 50's for the HHV if you can even get it at this point.
As was mentioned earlier you should really consider joining TUG and paying the $15 so you get a heads up for these
hard to get properties.

I got a match in a 2 bedroom for May thanks to these sightings and it was in the 50's with a 1-1/2 year old search.

I put in a OGS on 4/17/15 for one of the Hiltons on Oahu and got a hit the next day for a 3 bed unit at Lagoon Towers! It cost 51 TPUs.
I actually added the Hiltons to a 1 year OGS I had for the Smoky Mountains. I thought that if I used the old OGS I would keep the same time stamp and increase my chances of getting one of the Hawaii units.
That goes nicely with the 2 bed unit I got a week ago for the Kohala Suites on the Big Island with 30 TPUs (manual search of RCI current inventory).
These are for two consecutive weeks in July 2016.
I am beginning to love RCI.

I did the exact same. Had an older OGS for DVC and modified it just after the HGVC bulk deposit and got a 3 bed unit at Lagoon Towers for August 2016.
Looking forward to our first trip to Hawaii.
