I have two units confirmed for the same period of time at an resort that has Policy Restrictions 1 in 4 rule applies.

Will this be a problem? Also, there is a third unit that I can get with their sale and would like to add it for the same dates.

I am thinking that you can have multi units as long as the check in date is the same.

This is for my wife and some of her friends.

Thanks,

Should be fine as long as the dates are the same and there is NO wording explicitly disallowing concurrent reservations. But since you have 2 adding a 3rd should not be an issue.

If they're rentals (extra vacations or last calls) the 1 and 4 rule may not apply at all....but it may vary by resort. Every year I book 5-10 units at one of the Massanutten resorts for a family and friends group ski trip. All are booked thru RCI special sales (extra vacations.) I check-in to all units (no guest fees). I wouldn't do that if I didn't trust the guests because my credit card is used to hold all rooms. So far no problems!

I have a similar situation, I have two units confirmed for the same period of time at a resort that has 1 in 3 Policy Restriction. Could I request a 3rd for the same period of time through an on-going search? Or would that be blocked/prohibited because of my two confirmed reservations? I don't want to jeapardize the 2 I already have.

If it is a Vida property, two is going to be the maximum units, per RCI membership. I only mention them because they are the most common 1 in 3. For other resort, you should double check with RCI to make sure multiple units are ok. For most it is, for some not.
