Well, I thought I found the perfect date and booked it with RCI. Something came up (why couldn't it have came up last week!!!) and we might have to change our trip. We are months away from the trip. I know we won't lost any points, but assume we lose some part or all of our RCI $179 fee? We still want a trip, just need to move it to a different month.

EDIT: I had to lose the RCI fee and then pay it again. That sucks, but I jumped the gun last week and didn't check the schedule before booking. I got too excited over seeing some inventory and jumped on it. Those pesky family members always have to schedule weddings when I want to go on vacation!!!! LOL.

I would try to find the new exchange, then call RCI and ask them to switch those two (old exchange and new exchange) and try to waive exchange fee for the new one. I don't know if it works or not, but you can try.

They didn't let me. I even played the "this was my first trade, I made a mistake" card. If anyone else has gotten out of the fee before, let me know.
