Changes for Hilton Owners in RCI?

Hi everyone. I just read a post on the Hilton boards that RCI is changing the way Hilton trades? What does that mean? Will Hilton points still see everything in RCI (i.e. will Hilton reamain a tiger trader)? Are the point requirements to make a trade going up or down?

Someone made a casual refference to the pending changes in RCI and it has me worried about trading, now.

what I think you read, is a reference to the changes in the rci system coming this fall. Those changes can be found here:

I'm not a hilton owner, so I don't know if any changes are specifically coming Hilton's way; however, I don't think any are.

HGVC members' relationship with RCI is based on Hilton's contract with RCI.
While we peons are not privy to that, I suspect that any substantial changes
in RCI point-requirements or reservation rules would be broadcast by HGVC
well in advance.

Siesta,

While the link you have provided is still viable as of 10:18 this evening, the information has recently been removed from the RCI website.

I was looking for it today using the site and it was not available. When I checked with RCI about what happened, I was told that the page was not suppose to be up yet and that it had been taken down.

What RCI giveth, RCI can take away! :hysterical:

I do not know what you mean by the "info has recently been removed from the RCI website." This link, which is still working, is being hosted by RCI.
