Sheraton Vistana Resort - Room Type

Can someone who is familiar with the Sheraton Vistana Resort help me? I was matched with a 2 bedroom 8(6). Does this mean it is a lock-off? How can I tell which building/floorplan off their website this would be for? It looks like lock-offs are in Cascades and Lakes.

Any help is appreciated.

i have gotten an exchange like that before. usually i request the lakes section/ high floor on the diamond lane request section of the sheraton website.

You can be assigned to any phase at the resort that matches your confirmation, and they won't tell you until check-in. With Starwood - it's a secret!

i don't think my villas were lockoffs but i'm not 100% sure. i think the lakes setup was 1 king bed, 2 doubles and a sofabed. but only one entrance.

8(6) just refers to the bedding situation.

All the floor plans that slept 8 showed as lockoffs. The others show they sleep 6. It looked like cascades and lakes were the only ones that slept 8

i'm pretty sure you are mistaken. the lakes 2BR villa from denise's link sleeps 8 and is not listed as a lockoff. (same is true of cascades 2BR non-lockoffs).

I own at the cascade vistana resort. My 2 bedroom can sleep up to 8, 6 privately. It is not a lockoff

Just stayed in the Lakes last week. It slept 8 (6). there was no lock off. Master bedroom, another bedroom with 2 full sized beds, and a sleeper sofa. We had an end unit which was kind of small for a two bedroom, but we didn't spend much time in the room.

Generally, Starwood won't accept a request on a II trade, until check-in.

Just received my confirmed vacation email from RCI and thought it was interesting that it showed:
Unit: 2BEDROOM
Bedroom :2/ LOFT;;FULL Kitchen
Sleeps: 8 Maximum/ 6 Private

Does that mean I will have a loft unit?
