Not for me but just for the sake of information... Am I correct to assume this resort is AI but it's not mandatory? And that the rate is about $100 per day per person?

That's correct, it's AI rate is 105 per person and half that for kids. Although Since it's so close to town and there are great restaurants and bars around I would be hard pressed to get AI, unless you want the unlimited room service!
