As some of you may know from another thread my wife has had a serious stroke and she will be in a long term care facility for many months so I am going to have to qualify for Medicaid. I can give back my two Wyndham purchased properties but I need to basically give away my two resale purchased contracts.

I have a 210,000 point CA contract, MF about 96/month, and a Club Destin contract for 95,000 points (46/mo mf). I will give away the CA contract with the condition the Club Destin contract has to be purchased as well, plus I want the MF paid for during the sale and all closing costs. In other words I cannot gain from the purchase but I do not want it to cost me anything as well.

Transfer fees

Does anyone have an idea what the transfer fees are for Club Access?
I know it's not a deed that gets recorded in a courthouse somewhere.

So to be clear, Gary, you spoke with the Ovation people and they are willing to take your develoepr contracts back, but not your resale? This surprises me, especially with the CWA.

I have given back 3 resale contracts using Ovation. I also find it surprising that they would not take a CWA. You don't get anything for it (no free points or cash) but they were happy to take mine back.

As as Wyndham newbie, what is the difference between Club Access and points derived from a fixed week, like I assume, one primarily see here on TUG? I thought points were points.

Hi Gary,
I'm sorry to hear the bad news about your wife. How is she doing? I read your earlier post and saw that she may have had some improvement. This has got to be a very difficult time for you. I hope that you have good luck disposing of your timeshares so that you can concentrate on your wife's health and your own well being.
