Can anyone tell me the beach chair/umbrella situation at Lagunamar? Do they charge? Are there abundant shade options?

Shade is essential for us so I usually bring my own stuff to HI (I call it "vacation in a bag"). But......... we are bringing the extended family (adult kids and their girlfriends) to Lagunamr and I just don't have enough arms. Do people BYO in MX?

Also, Can anyone recommend the best villa location for accessing the more quiet side of the beach? We will be there on an off week and there might be some room placement flexibility.

There isn't a whole lot of shady area with lounge chairs. There are a few under the wooden overhang on the right side of phase 1 by the big infinity pool. They do not charge for any chair spots.

If you want a quieter villa, consider phase 2 buildings although the resort itself as a whole is pretty tame on noise.

No problem as towel boys will set u up with unbrella at pool and beach also has unbrellas and shaded palm areas. Very very nice resort.:cheer:
