Anybody Heard of Stop Arrival Date Restriction?

I was trying to book a 1 night reservation online and the system was showing no availability for a Saturday stay. But when I try to book 2 nights checking in on a Friday, the system showed several units available.

According to Starwood, sometimes certain checkin days especially Saturdays in Hawaii get overbooked and they have to put a "Stop Arrival Date" restriction. Apparently this restriction was put in place this year when the started experiencing check-in issues with reservations made using SOs.

WKORV used to designate inventory for Fri/Sat/Sun checkin; perhaps that residual allocation had something to do with what you saw.
