Hi Members!

We are heading to Paradise Island in two weeks! Can anyone give me information about shuttering at Atlantis - specifically:

1. Are the pools and lazy river at the Coral Towers open now??

2. Is the Seagrapes, the buffet restaurant at the Coral Towers open now?

3. Do the shuttles drive to the Coral Towers?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I was there last month and the lazy river was NOT open. But the Seagrapes was open and shuttles did run there.

I'd call the resort to get the most current info. - you will find the number for the concierge in a link on your confirmation.

We're at HRA now and the Coral Tower pools and lazy river are open. The rapids river ramp up to the slides was closed for a few days last week but is now back open as well.

2. Is the Seagrapes, the buffet restaurant at the Coral Towers open now?
To clarify: Seagrapes is in the Beach tower - it is a buffet restaurant, aimed at families.

There used to be a buffet type restaurant in the Coral Tower, but it has turned into Vergil's Barbecue.

Not sure which restaurant the previous poster was talking about, but I'd be surprised if Seagrapes was open in the quiet weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
3. Do the shuttles drive to the Coral Towers?
Yes, they go to Coral, as that has the closest drop off point for the casino. If you ask, drivers will drop you off at the Beach Tower (where Seagrapes is), but I don't think they regularly pick up over there.

Lazy River or the Rapids

There is a difference between the Lazy River and the Rapids...Both you use tubes to float around ..The Lazy river is just that very slow and calm water and is only about a 1/4 mile circle while the Rapids are very fast and rough at times ,rough enough to flip you over, and it is about a circle about a mile long.Atlantis does provide life jackets.

We've on property now. Fantastic weather, no lines for anything! I LOVE the week before Christmas!!!

For anyone interested:
• Seagrapes (the Family Buffet in the Beach Tower) is shuttered until Thursday, December 18th.
• Apparently, the Lazy River is open, but it was closed yesterday when we went by for "cleaning" although there did not appear to be anyone actually cleaning it.

Cleaning could include excess chlorination and Cleaning of pumps and water handling equipment you can't see.

Absolutely. We just went on to the rapid river area and will try again today at the lazy river. If an area needs to be cleaned - I am glad they are cleaning it!

Lazy River open yesterday and today. Seagrapes not open for any of our week, despite the Restaurant Reservations line / Concierge telling my that it would be open today and tomorrow. My 9 yr old is very disappointed... as it is her favourite. :(
