Would owning Grandview Las Vegas allow me to join RCI

I have an opportunity to buy a resale unit at Grandview Las Vegas. It has not been converted to a RCI points account.

I assume that owning that unit would still allow me to create an RCI account and exchange into their network, even though it's not a points unit, correct?

Thanks!

That is correct, but it would be a 'weeks' account. You could exchange using the 'TPU' (Trading Point Units) system, as well as buying Last Call and Extra Vacations (cash) rentals.

You might post what week (if it's fixed) and what size it is, so that someone could check how many TPUs it generates to trade with. Or possibly the seller knows.

I'm pretty sure grandview does not sell floating weeks. Everything is fixed.

I am a Grandview owner = I think the only weeks with any "float" are the ones already converted to RCI Points, and even those have an underlying fixed week AFAIK.

Get the ownership account ID number and call the Grandview and ask - they will fill you in.

Their # is (702) 966-4700

I wouldnt buy Grandview in the weeks system. As I understand the TPU is very low vs the annual dues you will pay... Its a great points system resort though

I own a week 11 (every year use) at Grandview, I get 17 TPU per year.
