Ko'Olina Sofa Bed Upgrades?

I just snagged a Ko'Olina trade. We were there in September and they were remodeling the tower with the main reception desk (our room had not yet been remodeled). We only received a studio so far (still have another trade pending). So, we may need to have an adult on the sofa bed. The "old" (as of September) sofa beds were pretty bad (typical bar in your back and fall through in spots, etc.). Were the sofa beds upgraded in the remodel? We've stayed in a few remodeled rooms at other Marriott resorts (including Maui) and they had new sofa beds that were a huge upgrade (wood bottom with attached mattress/pad--not bad at all for an adult).

Can anyone tell me if the sofa beds have been upgraded to these new sofa bed types. If so, is that true of all of the towers?

Thanks!

I called the resort and the person that I talked to said that the refurbished rooms do include the new, improved sofa beds. So, that is great. However, they have only refurbished the Kona tower and part of Naia tower.

Thanks for the update. Not that we will be using the sofa bed, but there is a chance we will be staying there in January, so I will try to stay in the Kona tower.
