Well, we check out at 10:00am for our 1:40pm flight. It's only a half hour to the airport. Thought we'd stop for breakfast, but I haven't noticed anything near Waiohai or near the Shell gas staion in Lihue where I'll gas up. Guess we need to eat in the TS unless anybody has any ideas???

We've enjoyed Tom Kat's Grill in old Koloa town. Very casual. Decent food. Not expensive.

The front desk staff recommended La Spezia in old Koloa Town for an Italian breakfast, along with the Red Salt @ Koa Kea, next door to the Marriott check-in cul-de-sac. Since the Red Salt is so convenient we'll try them in the morning.

I will have to second mjbaran's suggestion. I would eat breakfast at Joe's on the Green every morning during a stay at Marriott Waiohai. Get a table on the patio under the sun umbrella's. Joe's has good prices for a resort area, large portions, friendly service, distant ocean views and some of the best homemade salsa.

Ate @ Red Salt. Real convenient, good food, & nice people. Checked out while waiting for food. Afterwards, had chance to walk back to Marriott & see a monk seal on beach. Nice way to end the trip.

The Marriott hotel in Lihue has a great breakfast and is minutes from the airport.
