Good view room at the Flamingo?

Can any recent Flamingo visitors recommend a good room to ask for that is fairly high up, has a good view of the strip and is a 1br? We are also looking for a room in good condition, which is why we are asking people who have been there recently. Thanks

All rooms have been renovated in the last couple of years, so they are all in good condition. There really isn't a "great" view of the strip, since the Flamingo hotel in in the way. But a higher floor in the main (middle) tower would give you the best view, including a view of the Bellagio fountains.

So we should just ask for a high room with a view of the Bellagio fountains or a specific side of the middle tower? I suppose if I mention the fountains they'll know what I'm talking about. Thanks for the info.
