I'm looking to secure a deal on a flight for the last day of January thru the first week of February in 2015…. How can I score the best flight deal?

Not sure where you are driving from but you may also want to check out Southwest from Flint Bishop airport. I've found great prices to Orlando even cheaper and/or quicker than flying with Delta using a free companion ticket. Recently discovered I can go to Aruba for around $400 and I'm in heaven. I've always paid $600 from Detroit. Plus the SW service has been wonderful.
