Even the shady operators are targets for shadier operators

Got a solicitation in the mail today from Newton Group Transfers. Made me smile to see the sentence "The #1 trusted name in Timeshare Exit with the #1 proven money back guarantee in the Industry". I think they are hoping that someone will see the capitalized words Timeshare Exit and think the letter is from the Timeshare Exit Team.

We have been getting monthly letters asking us to reserve time with their advisors.
Last Fall they were offering dinner.
" If you are happy with your timeshare, and have no concern for rising maintenance fees, please no not call. We can't help you."

The Newton Group has been around for some time. I’m pretty sure they always delivered what they promised, ie for a ton of money they would get rid of your timeshare for you. I’m guessing that a lot of what they got went to Viking ships but I know anything with wyndhams name on it was transferred to a megarenter wanna-be and maintenance fees were always paid

Where I think they differ from the timeshare exit team, is that Newton would only deal with “paid for” Timeshares. They didn’t deal with Timeshares encumbered by debt but I don’t know anything about their current operations
