Haven't had time to follow the discussions much any more, but have most WDW Disney Resorts gone to the RCI points system, other than the 3 or 4 day stays?
TIA

The answer is yes and no ;)

The Dvc resorts can only be booked as entire weeks and are available to both weeks and points owners.

So you can't book 3-4nts only 7nts.

No 2Br are being deposited so only 1br are available if any. Without an ogs you will only get ssr. With an old ogs (18months or more) you might get lucky and get something else than ssr but still only a 1BR.

Regards

I've been on RCI almost daily for a while now, trying to get just the right week for the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. I keep seeing 5 or 6 weeks at SSR and 1 or 2 at OKW, all in the Aug/Sep time frame, all 1BR. I'm holding out for mid-October.

I doubt sincerely that you'll get Oct or Nov. That is true unless Disney Vacation Club has inventory set aside for RCI deposits. Right now all the Disney Vacation Club resorts Are sold out for October and November.

You do know that the F&W festival begins in Sept? As does the Not So Scary Halloween Party.

I do not go in September because it is too hot and too many PM thunderstorms. It is one of the worst months of the year. I've been at SSR many times before in October, and have no reason to think I won't be there this year.
