I am very excited about our upcoming trip next month to the new HCC property in the Turks and Caicos Islands at the Rennaissance. Interestingly enough our fairly well off friends are owners of The Exclusive Resorts DC and will be staying a few doors down also on Grace Bay at Exclusive Resort's property The Palms. Their purchase price about 425k for 21 days, me an affiliate membership cost at HCC. Both properties sit directly on Grace Bay. I'm sure the Exclusive resorts property is more elaborate but it should be interesting to see a true comparison considering both units sit on the exact same beach and both are newer expensive condo developments. I plan to soak up the sun, drink alot of Mai Tai's, and give some live reports from both places. Can't wait to post the info

High Country Club Turks

Looks like I'll be the last one to the High Country Club Turks and Caicos property. I go December 8-15. I still can't find a ticket for less than $600 so I may have to use our precious FF tix (if I can find any).

Let us know the inside scoop when you go. I'm especially interested in what (if any) rental car arrangements everyone else makes.

Thanks.

There are only Spirit (out of FLL) and AA (out of Miami) and Spirit was 1/2 the cost of AA. I just kept checking the web site and once I liked the price, I was locked and loaded!

We got lucky on flights. RCI points came through on American, for 65000 points per ticket plus 49.00 fee to RCI. These tickets get full aadvantage ff miles plus are upgradeable to Business class with our AA elite status.
