Wow, not sure if i should be excited about this or not. I have a unit on hold at St. Georges club, in Bermuda 2/24-3/3. I have never been to Bermuda. Any opinions on Bermuda and specifically this resort????? Also, what are the temps at this time of year, not even sure about that. Thanks

Bermuda is better in the summer when you can swim in the ocean. It gets a bit cooler in the winter than Caribbean Islands.

St. Georges is the former capital of the island, with an interesting center. There is a museum of blockade running and other aspects of the War Between the States in the US that effected Bermuda and the British Empire, which is in the tavern where the representative of the Confederate government had his office during the war. Hamilton, the current capital is across the island, and the tourist complex at the old Royal Navy Docks is entirely at the opposite end of the island.

I'd describe it as a lot colder (not "a bit cooler") than the Caribbean islands in the winter. It's roughly at the same latitude as North Carolina, so that's a pretty fair comparison. Often people fail to realize that it's actually an Atlantic island, not Caribbean. So think of it as beach time there equivalent to beach time in most of the States.

Just so long as you don't go expecting it to be a beach vacation, it's a charming and beautiful island and can be appreciated even without lying on the beach. We went for our honeymoon a gazillion years ago, over the Memorial Day weekend, and it was marginally cool for lying on the beach.

Have been to Bermuda 2x but not timesharing...stayed at the Elbow Beach which was nice... loved the island and the people....its like England in the tropics but will be cooler weather...50-60 degrees... although my mom went in the water one Feb which was just a freaky warm day !! The island is small and has lots of nice shops in Hamilton and Somerset with the British flair.. scarves, woolens, sweaters etc...great quality.. we enjoyed taking the ferry from Hamilton to Somerset and rode the local buses all around... just a tidbit.. John Lennon visited there for his last LP and went to the Botanical gardens and found the Double fantasy flower, thus the lp name !!! I think there is a plaque there about the flower...found food expensive but ate at restaurants suggested by locals... found some nice water color prints by Mary Powell.. beautiful scenes. Lucky you.. I would love to staty at the TS there !!!! Write to the Bermuda tourist board and you will receive lots of stuff. map etc.. in a big pink envelope !

Any reason as to why II have no resorts here?
There are currently only two timeshares in Bermuda, both of which are affiliated with RCI, the largest exchange company. For one to affiliate with II, an existing resort would have to switch or dual-affiliate or someone would have to build a new timeshare (or convert an existing property to timeshares) and affiliate it with II.
