We stayed at Bali Hai in July 2008. We had a 2BR presidential. I would not consider this resort a 5*. It is very comparable to the facilities at the other Wyndham resorts. Nice, comfortable room, big kitchen, nice balcony & comfy beds. Our view was of the mountain/rain-forest. My husband enjoyed the golf at Princeville, and we hiked into the park. The coast is beautiful! We found the whole Princeville area VERY expensive though. The restaurants were very pricey. There are a lot of wild chickens/roosters roaming the property. Expect their wake up call early every morning! Also, Kauai Beach Villas were not as nice as far as amenities, but we liked our time there better. The area was a bit less expensive for restaurants and shopping, and we liked the "sunny coast",and being on the ocean.

TUG reviews are a member's-only feature. Well worth the annual $15 IMHO.
