Info on how to setup RCI account

Help!

Sorry, I know I have read this somewhere on tug, but I have trouble using search. I can't find it.

I have (finally!) had my Wyndham RCI account setup as the link from the Wyndham Site now works. How do I setup the rci account so I can log on direct to rci? I never received anything from Wyndham so I am not even sure of the account number.

I may or may not want to deposit non Wyndham TS to the account, so would like to setup.

If anyone can assist with info it would be appreciated

The advice I received from uscav8r in another thread was:

The RCI Weeks account should be provided as part of the Wyndham ownership. You (OP) should call the Wyndham RCI folks and inquire about your Weeks account number. They may tell you 2 or 3 different numbers. One is for your Wyndham RCI account, and another is for the RCI Weeks account.

You are right.

I got the account number from the Wyndham rep. I proceeded to ask how to setup the RCI account, but they did not know what I was talking about and proceeded to tell me a bunch of things that clearly did not sound correct, so I quickly aborted by saying, "okay thank you, that is all I needed today"

5 min on the RCI website and I was setup with no help from them.

Now I have to figure out how to use it. I have some weeks that I may or may not want to deposit, so I thought I better have the account setup so it does not cause a delay. I have that part done, so thank you for the help.

I tried the deposit calculator though and the values don't seem to match my impression of the value of the weeks at all.......I will have to try to read up on RCI weeks to understand better and how to maximize value.
