Ok I have 2 weeks in the II system that I'm searching with.. I'll try to explain.

I have an ongoing search for a 2 bedroom at the royal sands in Cancun for Aug 15, 2015, I'm using my Foxrun NC week 15 in 2014 to search.. All I see is a 1 bedroom there with my week, now when I just do a search with a stronger trader (the royal Cancun week 15 of 2016 thats not deposited) I see the 2 bedroom August 15 2015 that I want!! So my question is am I wasting my time trying to get this week with my Foxrun week in an ongoing search??

Thanks Johnny

I would call II and ask them for the exchange.

Yeah I tried that, I went as far as saying I have been a member since 2000 and cant they do it for me.. I also said what's the use of me doing an ongoing search if the weeks there and I can't get it?

Can I ask what stronger trader you are using?

Or it could just be in a priority time for other royal resort member's and if it makes it out of priority then it will match for you if you are still he first in line.

I'm a royals member and I don't know if there is a priority time but that could be! Is this usually a secret or will my resort tell me? I'll give them a call..

1. First rule of II, call and ask another rep. maybe two.
2. Keep the ongoing search going, it will match as check-in gets closer.
3. There must be priority because I have searched with two very good traders, and cannot see a 2br until the following month.

Yeah I went through 3 or 4 reps 2 or 3x, I know that game!! Didn't seem to matter at this point but thank you that sounds like good news for me.

ie. "You can't get a tiger trade with a dog trader."

It sounds like you just don't have enough trade power. You can wait till closer to check in but imo, it's risky

You shouldn't need a tiger trader to get an AI in Mexico for mid August even a Two bedroom. Looking at old posts on tug indicates that II does have a priority period for Royal resort owners. It doesn't indicate how long. I don't think calling the resort would help because these days they are pushing rci. I think the II reps won't be much help either.

Did you match overnight? Today, I see a new 2br has appeared.

I see a 2BR 8/29-9/5…would that work for your school vacation? Otherwise I am seeing the 1BR and a studio for your date…using a standard resort 2BR red and whitish week.
