HGVC combined my 2 accounts

HGVC combined my 2 accounts. I've always had 2 accounts. One for my HGVC developed resorts and one for my affiliate resorts. Well they finally combined them into 1 account. I don't mind. In fact I'm quite pleased. However, they did not notify me of the change. This caused a problem that took some time to resolve.

I own a true hgcv and an affiliate but my accounts has not been merged(yet)

I like the fact that I have two accounts, so if I for some reason is impacted by the 1:4 rule in RCI then I can always use my second account.

I recently enrolled an affiliate that I purchased this Summer.
I prepared to see 2 accounts and pleased to find all the points in one.

I had 2 accounts, one for HGV properties and one for a subsidiary resort. Since we bought our first HGV directly from them 15 years ago, HGV assigned the account number which we have primarily used over the years. They merged our two account with no notice to us. Irrationally, they eliminated the account # they issued instead of the subsidiary account #. Makes no sense. Really wonder who is making the decisions at HGV. I was told HGV has a new technologies team who developed the latest inferior website. They just don't get who the customers are.

They combined by Seaworld and my Bay Club. Awesome.

Now I don't have to call to transfer BC points to SW account.
