Hi all,

I noticed on Monday morning that Interval had II Getaway weeks showing for Vistana Villages in Orlando for January and February. Told my parents about it and they booked a two bedroom for January to try it out. My question, should they make a request for a special section or are they even allowed to do that when they stay on a Getaway? This resort is pretty new, right? So maybe it doesn't even matter what section you're in.

Also, I might try to book a Getaway through II for a 1 bedroom sometime. I went out to the website and took a look at the room sizes and it looks like there are some small one bedrooms. My question, what are your opinions of the smaller one bedrooms at Sheraton Vistana Villages? I'm assuming a 1 bedroom Getaway week would probably mean staying in the smaller unit.

Thanks.

I own in the Keys section but I would not have a preferance to which part of the resort I stayed.I think each section has it's good points and where you stay there would be a personal choice.I stayed in the smallest unit available in Oct. and it was more than enough room for three of us.The kitchen is a partial with just a 2 burner stove and an under counter fridge. We only did breakfast and snacks in the room if you plan on really cooking you might want a larger unit with a full kitchen.

We were there last January and had a confirm for a one bedroom with a full kitchen. They attempted to give us the small one bedroom with the mini kitchen. I advised them what was on the confirm. This was an RCI exchange. We had many discussions until they finally moved us to the one BR with full kitchen. This unit was terriffic with a shower that was state of the art . The smaller one bedroom is not comparable to the full kitchen unit. What does the confirm say K or LK, with K being the full kitchen. Also we stayed in the Keys area which was the newest. Great resort but get the full kitchen.

Thanks for the help. Some of the 1 bedroom II Getaways say LK and some say K. It's interesting that they are priced the same. You'd think the K's would be more money.
