A question to those who have purchased WSJ resale.
A eBay seller - who claims to know the ins/outs of selling/buying WSJ - states that there are additional fees (above and beyond the Title Company fees) when buying WSJ - as follows:
- $25 Tax Clearance Letter Fee
- $130 Total Courier Fee, $65 Courier fee for Tax Clearance, $65 for Deed
- $15.00 for first $3,000.00 ($1.00 per extra $1,000.00) based on sales price.
- Stamp Tax: 2% of assessed value as found on annual tax bill
OR
- 2% of purchase price, whatever amount is greater
That totals approx. $500.
Any comments?
