The recent shootings.

Even IF this is true, common sense tells me that if you stay away from the demonstrations you will be fine.

I can't find this posted on any reputable website - including the Anonymous website - it appears to be a hoax.

Yes, the Snopes link says that it "is identical to a false rumor circulated in 2014".

While there may not be any large scale planned protests, there is enough anger right now that just the rumor may be enough to send neighboring individuals and groups to those locations. I doubt they have enough resources to have large scale buses and planeloads pouring into the areas but even small protests can get ugly.

It looks like the blm movement is now a global concern. Regarding this Friday, it looks like it may be happening.

It looks like it *might* be happening. The Anonymous hacker group is definitely trying to stir it up. Whether or not people join in, who knows? But, as Snopes points out, an identical threat was made 2 years ago.

The latest link is from CBS Los Angeles. ABC is reporting these protests are now global.

So yes Denise, I did. I read it at zero hedge then looked at snopes. Now it seems the msm is reporting on it.

So my concern is not anything political but on travel plans only. This was just a heads up to those travelers going to a big city in the USA where a potential protest could disrupt vacation plans.

America’s Black Lives Matter movement has jumped continents in the wake of recent fatal police shootings of black men in the United States.

From Europe to Africa, people around the world are marching in solidarity for America’s grassroots campaign for racial justice and against excessive use of force by police, following the officer-involved shootings of two black men last week whose final moments were captured in shocking video footage that went viral online.

We are actually planning on a DC Potomac monument cruise on Friday, We have a groupon that I didn't have a chance to use during cherry blossom fest that is expiring. We are thinking on hitting the 11am cruise, having lunch and then getting out of town before 2:30 to avoid the regular Friday hellish return commute trafic. That was are original plan and so far we still think it's a go.

I noticed that San Diego and San Jose are not on the list which is great because they are the cities I care the most about.

Change CAN be positive -

(Sometimes) any change .

The United State of America did not come about because of love for
Authority - ie the British King / George lll .

Vermont joined the USA in 1791 - as the 14th state . It was an independent republic for 14 years . Vermont was the first state to partially abolish slavery .( Wikipedia ) .

We are living - THE - moment when LIVE STREAMING - may change the future.

Protest is part of change - and sometimes it causes friction.
It it scary - sometimes , and now is one of those times .

... the only thing we have to fear .. is fear itself ...
FDR at his first inauguration - March 4 1933

I hope WE ALL have a good week and weekend .

For a very interesting read on this event - try this :

www.macleans.ca/news/canada/

how-black-lives-matter-cofounder-janaya-kahn-sees-canada/

interviewed by Zane Schwartz July 8 2016 - with Black Lives Matter Toronto co founder Janaya Khan .

The protest was not just about police - read and learn , I sure did .

Macleans is a Canadian - Time / Newsweek
I am not sure if they still publish paper , but I see articles in Google News Canada regularly .

< for authorship copyright rights reasons I separated link info - If you you to Macleans and then go to the author of the article you can click on his writing.>
-Bet you read more than one .

I read it but I don't really care about what the BLM believes in Canada. I was simply reporting about the protest, not commenting on it.
