After Hyatt excercised their ROFR twice on me , I finally got some purchases through their ROFR. BUT I GOT TOO MANY WEEKS PASSED!!

I got over zealous & bid on 3 weeks, I didn't expect to get all of them, but I did. So I will soon have 3 weeks of hyatt!!

I purchased a 2 week resale package at pinion pointe, AZ (1880 pts ea. week) for $26,000.00

At the same time I purchased week 8, 1880 pts. in lake tahoe for $13,500.00. This purchase also came with some exsisting points in II.

So for $39,500.00 I will have 5640 points.

I don't know how good of a deal this was, but I do know that we will have plenty of points for some nice vacations. (I am sure the maintenance fees. will add up to a lot.) In the future, I may not keep all 3 of the weeks, since I never intended to purchase 3, we will see!!
Or--
I may keep all 3 weeks. We do take several vacations a year. It seems like I could use some pts. at Hyatt & trade some with II. The exchange value seems high. I could exchange 1 week of hyatt & get at least 2 weeks in a prime resort through II.

Thanks for all of your tugger help while I was hunting!!!---------Christine

Sounds like fun! Congrats on your 3 weeks...or is that more since your signature indicates that you own worldmark too? Whatever you own...use 'em and have fun!

In late November you'll be receiving 3 early Valentine's Day messages from Hyatt, payable by 12/31/07. My guess is a quick check in the amount of about $2,700 should take care of it. Hope that fits in with all your other year end expenses! ;)

Yea, that's pretty high maintenace dues (considering my other timeshare is Worldmark & their fees are low)

However, we are blessed & money is not an issue with us , but 3 Hyatt wks. my just be too much of one thing to have every year. We travel a lot & like some variety. I have to learn the hyatt system to see if I will keep all 3 weeks. If not, perhaps I 'll keep them until New York & Hawaii are up & running then sell ( maybe I'll even make some money?)
