Realm of a "stupid" question, but throughout the forums I see certain abbreviations that not sure what they mean. I've found some but not others, is there a place to find the information.

Ex: OGS (took me a while but figured it was ONGOING SEARCH), what is TPU or SSR for example.

Thanks. If I see others that I can't figure out I will post here.

TPU is an abbreviation for Trading Power Unit, a valuation "currency" creation, invented by RCI a few years ago in order to assign a specific "value" to units / weeks at RCI "Weeks" (i.e., not in RCI Points) timeshare facilities.

Some have occasionally referred to RCI's relatively new TPU valuation system as "Points Lite", fwiw.

Hardly encyclopedic, but here's a list of quite a few TUG acronyms: http://www.tug2.net/timeshare_advice/timeshare_glossary.htm

When you are looking in resort system specific forums, like the Marriott or Wyndham ones, regulars there use the shorthand of initials to represent individual resorts. It does leave newcomers at some disadvantage until they figure out the codes.

SSR is probably Saratoga Springs Resort at Disney World.
