Question about changing an RCI reservation

Hoping maybe another Tug member has had experience with this. My mom booked 2 1BR units through RCI for 2 consecutive weeks in Aug at Saratoga Springs/DVC. The weeks we have booked have a Sun checkin/out date. We were planning to cut our vacation 1 day short, leaving on Sat so my husband can be home in time to return to work. Now I see more availability at SSR with 2 consecutive weeks running Sat-Sat. Will RC let you change your reservation? Is there a change fee? Would they charge me 4 new exchange fees? If so, it's really not worth it to pick up the extra day.

You would have to cancel and rebook. There would be a new exchange fee for each week booked. You would also have to pay any difference in points or tpu's. You may not get full value back for your cancellations unless you purchased protection.
