1) Where do you want your home resort to be? In the Caribbean or Playa Del Carmen Mexico.
2) Do you want to visit your home resort at least half the time, or do you want to trade more than half the time?
I would probably visit my resort 1/2 of the time. But I would like to be able to trade within the Caribbean easily in case I get bored with my home resort. I will use this resort to get out of the winter for a week or 2 a year.
3) What are your 5 top trade destinations? Aruba, St. John, Playa Del Carmen,
Orlando, New York, anywhere in the Caribbean.
4) How many people do you usually travel with? 2-4
5) Can you travel any time, or are you locked into the school schedule? Anytime.
6) Can you make firm plans 12 or more mos. in advance? Yes.
7) Can you vacation for a full week at a time? Yes I can vacation up to 14 days.
8) What level of accommodations do you prefer on a scale of 1 to 5 stars? I prefer 4-5, but can deal with a 3 if there's other considerations like location near activities like shopping, restaurants or movies.
We get bored easy so I want more things to do than just a beach. We'd like to be a short trip from these types of activities.
9) How much can you afford to spend upfront, without financing? Without financing probably $5-8k.
10) How much can you afford to spend every year for a maintenance fee that will come due right after Christmas, and increase each year? I'd say $1,200. But I'd like to be around $800 or less.
11) Are you a detail oriented planner? Yes, very.
12) Do you understand that once you buy a timeshare, it may be very difficult to sell or give away, and you are responsible for all fees, until you do? Yes, I've owned before.
Thanks for any help you can give
