Whaaaaaat?? Yes, just the video preview would be overwhelming for a 2 and a half year old! How about a local petting zoo/farm in your neighbourhood? :)

it is coming here to Atlanta in September.....I think I might enjoy it, but I am 52! I would think it might be a little too much for a toddler.

Does the 2.5 yo love dinosaurs? My son sure did and he watched the dvd version over and over. Why don't you rent the DVD and see if it scares him. You can always turn it off. Also the Discovery chanel often repeats the series so I would look up their programming schedule. My now 11 yo son still has his dinosaur valance I made him although the rest of the dino theme is gone:(

I emailed them to see if the show was coming to California - my 3 and 4 year old sons would absolutely love it. They love dinosaurs so dinosaurs don't really scare them-maybe its cuz they know they're extinct so can't get them! (they even have the Jurassic Park movies and they love them).
