Does a baby count toward total persons?

Hello,

I am trying to book an exchange for my niece. There will be four adults and three children. Two of the kids are ages 5 and 7 and the third is a six month old baby.

I can find lots of 2 BR's with a hide-a-bed sofa also, so the person count is 6/6 or 6/4 on the RCI exchange listing.

They plan to bring a pack and play for the baby to sleep in.

Can I go ahead and book one of the units for 6 persons total even though they will have the baby as a seventh person? The baby, as said, doesn't need a bed.

Thanks,
Diane

Every resort is different. If you are concerned about it, don't take everyone to the front desk to check-in. Send everyone else for a walk.

I'd put the resort on HOLD and call to ask. While Denise's system works, in some places, New Orleans for one, they are very strict on occupancy limits due to fire department rules.

Now, to answer what you *really* asked! Ty's, baby is a person. Do you have to count it? Now that depends on the resort.
