Does anyone know exactly how many members HCC has right now? Any updates on "future properties" (besides Punta Mita and Costa Rica)?

Texdoc - Contact HCC and they will give you a very good idea of which properties from the "In Development" page they are about to go public with. Early on there were very upfront to me on what they were about to acquire. here is the link: http://www.highcountryclub.com/destinations/In_Development.asp

Be advised that the next properties that they actually acquire may not be on this list. This was particularly true when they started to buy property outside of Colorado.

I think the 265-275 number is the number of full memberships i.e. Private/Group level. 30 properties times 8 full members per property would be 240. Additionally, 3-4 new properties coming up i.e. 24-32 memberships would mean 264 - 272 members which is equal to the numbers provided.

That said, it takes two Affiliate and four Associate members to make up the equivalent of Private. Numerically, I would put the membership count to be around 375-400.

Here's another tidbit. HCC has a 2:1 resignation policy but an Affilate member needs only one Private/Group signup to be able to resign.
