Going to Orlando.
Have a DC points reservation at one resort.
Thinking of changing to another.

I know if I cancel, points go into restricted usage.
Exactly what is restricted usage?
Is it just time or something else?

Will this work. (Change from Resort A to Resort B one week out if available?)

Thanks

They go into a Holding Account, and once there, they can only be used to book a ressie within 60 days of check in. Seems like in your situation, that would not be an issue as you are rebooking in that window anyhow.

I would want them to hold the new ressie for me before I had them cancel the old and move the points to the new.... just to make sure it was not snatched up by somebody else mid transaction.
